Ben Fant: Creative Director at Farmhouse
Mollie Baker: Senior Art Director at DCA
Topic: Now’s your chance to find out exactly what former AAF-NA Awards judges are looking for and how they judge award winning work. This will be forum style. You can ask questions online prior to the event by filling out the registration form below, you can anonymously submit questions on paper as you walk in the door, or you may ask questions as they come to you throughout the session.
Currently the Senior Art Director at DCA in Memphis, and a former professor at the University of Alabama, Mollie’s gifted in both researching and communicating design concepts. Her ability to find relevant influencers and combine them in a unique way provides the visual foundation for our work.
Mollie has significant responsibility for conceptualizing, developing, and executing the design and branding efforts for clients. Mollie brings a comprehensive approach to design and a deep appreciation for the value of research when developing creative for clients.
Mollie earned a B.F.A. degree in graphic design from Mississippi University for Women, as well as an M.A. degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Alabama.
Ben Fant is the Principal and Creative Director of Farmhouse, a creative design firm in Memphis, Tennessee. Ben founded the agency in 2007, and it has quickly developed as the most recognized retail and hospitality design firm in the Mid-South.
Ben and his agency is well-versed in immersive consumer experiences through design and digital media. Farmhouse has collected numerous awards (including Local and District ADDY Awards) for their projects, in large part, to their focus on “art first.”
Dubbed a “Memphis Thought Leader,” Ben continues to lead the charge for excellent design in the community in order to establish a more engaging urban environment. In his downtime, Ben likes to travel, enjoy Bourbon, and spend time with his wife, three dogs, three cats and five horses.
